From the first page
to the hiding place.
Hunt4Cache brings two roles together: the adult who prepares and leads, and the Reader who earns the adventure.
The Guide sets the scene.
Choose a physical book and a reward that is right for your Reader. Hide the cache, or hide a clue to its location, somewhere safe and permitted. Prepare and review six page-number questions before handing over the reading challenge.
The Guide manages Reader profiles, book setup and the protected answer key. A local Guide PIN restricts these tools; it is not identity verification or parental consent.
The Reader follows the story.
Read the book and enter the page where each event happens. Correct answers open the six doors. A wrong page starts a ten-minute wait before the next attempt, encouraging another look at the book. If the Reader needs help, they can ask the Guide.
Then the adventure leaves the page.
When the reading challenges are complete, the adult takes over and leads the hunt. The Guide stays with the Reader, identifies the safe hiding place and approves collection. The reward is supplied by the Guide, not paid out by Hunt4Cache.
A hunt does not have to use GPS.
The current design includes a Guide-led route using a private hiding reminder, without location permission or map downloads. Optional adult-operated outdoor navigation is under review for the public release. Final availability will depend on platform requirements.
Online book help is a separate choice.
The Guide can prepare clues offline. Optional online book help uses third-party services to help identify a book and prepare questions. Release-specific privacy information and permission choices must be in place before public app use.
The app is preparing for launch. This website explains the current product design; it does not offer a download, take payment or promise educational results.
